Overview:

Twins Stüffle and Doppel reunite in Taiwan after many years apart for a visit but when a serious earthquake hits the island, the twins decide to hop on their motorcycles and ride to the epicentre to help with the international rescue effort. But things don’t turn out the way they expected, with the twins embarking on a journey that takes them into uncharted waters with Doppel’s new life philosophy, as well as finding an abandoned puppy, and then to the shores of the mighty St. Lawrence River in Canada where they finish their journey. Not all is as it seems and in the end one of the twins is left profoundly affected by the life and thoughts of his identical twin brother.

But as the story unfolds, one twin who is a graduate of philosophy who studied to learn philosophy and employ it in his life, tells his twin brother of his newly created life philosophy that he has come to use in his life of motorcycling and living while living in Asia. As the physical adventures are told so is this intellectual story that started 25 years earlier but that has matured into a comprehensive and passionate exposé of a manes quest for truth…
