Expatriates in Jail Overseas (EJO) aims to service expatriate travelers who find themselves incarcerated overseas. Too many travelers find themselves in tough situations with little support so EJO fills this void by communicating with prisoners and providoing them with reading materials and other comforts that they might lack.
EJO is currently seeking NGO status with the United Nations, which will provide the organization with more presence and stature among the numerous other NGOs that also serve those who are need and overlooked by governmental services. We here at EJO focus on Canadian travelers who are serving time in a jail overseas.
